Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our team in Northumberland. In this rewarding role, you will provide low-intensity interventions to clients experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression.

The successful candidate will have completed a PGP Cert Low Intensity Psychological Therapies or equivalent qualification. With a focus on client-centered care, you will work collaboratively with service users to develop personalized treatment plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver low-intensity interventions, including CBT-based self-management strategies, to clients experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative service improvement projects, focusing on improving patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Prioritize case management and clinical skills supervision to ensure exceptional client care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to share best practices and enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualification from a PWP training course or equivalent, with accreditation pending.
  • Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with mental health concerns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone etiquette.

About Us:

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with access to a comprehensive benefits package, including pension schemes and employee assistance programs.
