Quality and Purchasing Specialist

At BMW Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Purchasing Specialist to join our team at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. As a key member of our Bespoke Parts Quality and Purchasing department, you will be responsible for managing parts quality topics for a selection of bespoke components, including managing the industrialisation of those components and familiarising yourself with the parts quality systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage parts quality topics for a selection of bespoke components
  • Manage the industrialisation of those components
  • Familiarise yourself with the parts quality systems and processes
  • Understand supplier manufacturing processes with bespoke suppliers
  • Co-ordinate and steer of Target Management Process and key performance indicators (KPI's)

Requirements:

  • Studying towards a 2:1 Bachelors degree - preferably in Engineering and or Supply Chain Management
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task
  • Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems
  • An excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook

  • A competitive annual salary of £25,300, 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract), and an attractive pension scheme
