About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sport and Physical Activity Officer to join our team at The Sheffield College. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in enhancing our students' enrichment and experience while they study with us.

As a Sport and Physical Activity Officer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a wide range of sports and physical activity sessions. You will work closely with all curriculum and professional services to encourage participation and promote a healthy lifestyle among our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive student engagement and participation in sports and physical activities
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams to develop and deliver sports and physical activity programs
  • Support students in overcoming barriers to participation in sports and physical activities

Skills & Knowledge:

We are looking for a candidate who embodies the following qualities:

  • Experience in working in a school/college or community sports environment
  • Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
  • Student-centered approach
