About the Role:
  • This exciting part-time position involves working as a Support Worker for older adults and vulnerable individuals, providing care and support services in supported housing schemes, extra care schemes, and community-based settings.
  • You will work as part of a team, delivering care services that promote independence, rights, choices, and inclusion in the community, while adhering to the Care Quality Commission standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with older adults, frail elderly, people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and complex needs, providing care and support services that cater to their unique needs and preferences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Hold 5 GCSE passes at grade 'C' or above (or equivalent Grade 9-5), including Maths and English.
  • Able to listen and communicate effectively, with good written communication and numeracy skills.
  • Basic IT skills and a driving licence with access to a vehicle.
  • Able to work both as part of a team and unsupervised, with knowledge of personal boundaries and understanding of CQC requirements.
