About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Support Staff to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our service users, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist catering staff with meal preparation, cooking, and serving in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to operational hygiene standards.
  • Liaise with the wider team, including dietitians, to ensure dietary and planned meals are met.
  • Maintain storage procedures and stock rotation to optimize inventory management.
  • Participate in mandatory training to ensure proficiency in job duties.

Requirements:

  • Relevant catering qualification (desirable)
  • Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
