We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Financial Officer to join our Finance Team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to the R&D Department and wider trust finance department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial support to the R&D Department and wider trust finance department.
- Manage research accounts, ensuring they are created in a timely manner and finances are attributed.
- Process financial data, including invoicing, credit notes, and journal entries.
- Provide training to clinical trial staff on financial processes and procedures.
- Engage with internal and external departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Working knowledge of IT systems, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience of working in finance, preferably in an NHS environment.
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
