Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across our network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a range of HGV vehicles, including Class 1 trucks, to transport goods to and from our depots and customer sites.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any defects or issues to the maintenance team.
  • Load and secure goods in accordance with company procedures and ensure accurate documentation is completed.
  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational targets and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • C+E driving licence and valid DigiTacho.
  • Previous experience as a Class 1 driver, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 18kg and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
