F&B Cost Controller - Artistic Precision
We are seeking a highly skilled F&B Cost Controller to join our team at art'otel London Hoxton. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for controlling and analysing purchases, transfers, voids, and stock management. Your expertise will ensure that products meet company and hotel brand standards, and that all purchased items are recorded and controlled throughout their movement within the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate differences between actual and theoretical results and report to management where variances occur
- Lead month-end stock-taking for all stores, cellars, and outlets in the hotel
- Manage stock: review stock levels and ensure accurate record keeping
- Food & Beverage Costing: work to optimise F&B menus and COS
- System and best practice reporting: review and report on company policies and procedures
- Update all inventory requisitions through the inventory and purchasing system
- Maintain accurate records for all purchase orders raised and cancel old or non-returned orders in a timely manner
- Maintain inputting prices, menu changes, and user changes in the point of sale (POS) system. Validate these to the recipes in the Adaco system
- Review and sign off voids' summary for suspicious transactions
- Actively seek ways to improve hotel spending and cost controls, agree and implement any resulting actions
- Ensure that all items requisitioned are properly accounted for by observing the requisitioning process, using both outlet and purchase requisition process as set up in Adaco
