2nd Line Network Support Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Support Specialist to join our team. As a 2nd Line Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting our infrastructure, with a main focus on networks and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support infrastructure, with a main focus on networks and security
  • Ensure the network is stable and performing at its optimum
  • Analyse and assess network performance, recommending required improvements
  • Resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently
  • Investigate system faults and suggest future improvements
  • Deliver against KPI metrics to meet strategic business demands
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in 2nd line support
  • Exposure to Cisco/Meraki technologies
  • Excellent understanding of network infrastructure, such as LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi
  • Ability to work under pressure and have a 'can do' attitude
  • Strong problem solving skills and excellent communication skills
