As a Crop Technician, you will have the chance to specialise and grow within your field. Your potential roles include:

1. Agronomy and Traditional Field Walking: Engage in hands-on fieldwork, observing crops and assessing their health.

2. Crop Nutrition and Soil Health: Dive into the science of nourishing plants and maintaining soil vitality.

3. Trials and Research: Explore innovative solutions for sustainable farming practices.

4. Precision and Emerging Agriculture Technologies: Stay at the forefront of technological advancements.

5. Market Demands, Seed Traits, and Genetics: Understand the intricacies of crop traits and market dynamics.

Qualifications:

FACTS and BASIS qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, which could be practical or in field trials.

Passion for sustainable agriculture and continuous learning is essential.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities are necessary.
