About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our dedicated kitchen team at Avondale Care Home. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
- Supervise and motivate the catering team to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Monitor food stock and ordering to maintain efficient inventory management
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety within the kitchen
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with a qualification in food catering
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead a small kitchen team and motivate staff
- First-class customer service skills
