">We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our team as a Band 5 Community Podiatrist in North East Essex.
The successful candidate will work within our community clinics, providing general NHS podiatry services, including biomechanics, diabetic podiatry, and MDT diabetic foot clinic care.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or returning-to-practice Podiatrist to develop their skills in diabetic foot disease and work alongside senior professionals in a supportive environment.
As part of our team, you will have access to training and development opportunities, including IRMER, ABPI, casting, and PGDs, to enhance your professional growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality podiatry services to clients across North East Essex.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in the MDT diabetic foot clinic.
- Participate in rotations in our well-established biomechanics, diabetes, and pediatric clinics.
- Develop skills in diabetic foot disease management and contribute to patient care.
- Provide education and support to clients on self-management and preventative measures.
Requirements
- Registered Podiatrist with HCPC registration.
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of assessments relevant to specialist care groups.
- Awareness of national guidance and legal frameworks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel to various sites using a car or motor vehicle.
