About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Wildlife Fundraiser in St Albans. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in engaging with the public, promoting our conservation efforts, and inspiring individuals to become lifelong members of our charity.

As a Wildlife Fundraiser, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will be provided with comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this role. You will also have the flexibility to choose a contract between 3 to 5 days per week, and enjoy the stability of a set salary, rather than working on commission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to different venues to set up fundraising stands and engage with the public
  • Provide information about our conservation efforts and promote our membership scheme
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve fundraising targets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of fundraising strategies and campaigns

About You

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual who is committed to conservation and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a driver's licence valid for use in the UK, and be happy to work 3 out of 4 weekends. You will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to travel (on average) an hour away from home each day.
