Job Summary:

NPR Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automation equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular servicing and maintenance on a variety of automation equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform proactive repairs and fault rectification activities to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our automation equipment and systems, including PLCs and other control systems.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in an FMCG, automation, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • NVQ 3 or Electrical Qualified.
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or Electrical/Mechanical qualified (ONC, HNC).
