Warehouse Operative/ Van Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operative/ Van Driver to join our team at Ashton Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the efficient processing and distribution of orders to customers across Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking, packing, and completing despatches of all orders
  • Producing packing lists using associated computers
  • Checking fellow associates' work
  • Movement of stock within the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Manual handling of goods and materials
  • General maintenance of working areas
  • Inputting of consignment details for UK carriers
  • Cover for delivery drivers due to holiday/sickness
Requirements:
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous experience of working in a warehouse is essential
  • Must hold a Full Clean UK driving licence for at least 5 years for insurance purposes
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous experience working in the motor factors industry
  • Reach forklift licence
  • Previous delivery driving experience ideally
