Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Inspire EHC. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Support: Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, fostering a sense of safety and well-being, and creating an environment that encourages learning and growth.
  • Promote Independence: Encourage students to develop their independence, setting high expectations for behavior and supporting them in achieving their full potential.
  • Educational Activities: Assist in planning and delivering high-quality educational activities that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting their cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Classroom Assistance: Provide support to the class teacher in maintaining a smooth and efficient learning environment, ensuring that students receive the best possible education.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to the changing needs of the school and students, taking on various tasks as required.
  • Holistic Development: Contribute to the overall development of students, promoting their spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being, in addition to their academic progress.
Requirements
  • Education: Hold a minimum of Grade 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English Language.
  • Safeguarding Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
  • SEN Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Transportation: Hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle, or be able to commute to the designated location.
  • Compliance: Must have a full-time right to work status.
