Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Priestley Avenue Community Centre. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the centre, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming of floors and rooms.
  • Empty bins, clean restrooms, and ensure sanitary stations are fully stocked.
  • Build relationships with clients and centre users, providing excellent customer service.
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times, reporting any defects or damages to management.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning or caretaking experience, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of basic site health and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and centre users.
  • Confident working independently, with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Good organisational skills, with attention to detail.
