Job Title: Fire Alarm Commission Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Commission Engineer to join our team at Protec Fire Detection plc. As a Fire Alarm Commission Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM & reactive maintenance of Fire Alarm & associated systems, as well as undertaking commissioning of Fire Alarm & associated systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM & reactive maintenance of Fire Alarm & associated systems
  • Undertake commissioning of Fire Alarm & associated systems
  • Work within the electrical sector, with a working knowledge of electrical circuits & measuring devices
  • Maintain accurate records
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary (£27,300 - £35,200 dependent on experience)
  • Travel time paid after first 15mins
  • Overtime: Weekdays x1.5 paid after 8hrs (including travel, minus first 15mins)
  • Overtime: Saturday x1.5 to x2.0
  • Overtime: Sunday/BH/Nights x2.0
  • On-call overtime
  • 32 days holiday allowance, plus additional days after 2 years' service
  • Company vehicle incl. fuel card
  • CPD training (both in house & external training modules)
  • Progression within the business
  • All paperwork completed on company iPad (plus laptop & phone)
  • Workplace Pension
  • Death in service insurance
