Electrical Project Manager Opportunity

Sustainable Talent is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading electrical engineering company in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems projects, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and meeting programme deadlines and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all site works, including HV electrical connections and building strong relationships with end clients
  • Conduct internal and external project meetings, reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes
  • Ensure compliance with all site-related HSE policies and requirements
  • Meet programme deadlines and budget by managing all site works
  • Previous project management experience within utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems
Requirements:
  • Previous project management experience within utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems
  • HV Electrical connections
  • Building strong relationships with the end client
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with all stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with all site-related HSE policies and requirements
  • Meeting programme deadlines and budget by managing all site works
  • Conducting internal and external project meetings
  • Experience in reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes
  • Previous exposure to H&S, budget, and programme responsibility
  • Qualified at HNC level; relevant industry training (SMSTS, CDM, IOSH)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with clients, supply chain, and employees
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to multi-task
