Trainee Industrial Door & Loading Bay Engineer Opportunity

TDRS, a market leader in the industrial door and loading bay industry, is seeking a Trainee Industrial Door & Loading Bay Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of industrial door and loading bay maintenance and repair.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of industrial door systems, including sectional doors, speed doors, and roller shutters, as well as loading bay equipment such as dock levelers, dock shelters, wheel locks, and traffic light systems.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the industry, a valid UK driving license with no more than six points, and an up-to-date CSCS Card. In return, TDRS offers a competitive salary, monthly and annual bonuses, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pensions scheme, company sick pay scheme, and all power tools provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service, maintenance, and repair of industrial door systems and loading bay equipment.
  2. Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault finding.
  3. Basic electrical wiring.
  4. Identifying additional sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in the industrial door and loading bay industry.
  2. Valid UK driving license with no more than six points.
  3. Up-to-date CSCS Card.
