About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Nurse to join our Consultant Led Paediatric Dental Service at Highlands Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to dental clinicians in delivering dental treatment to paediatric patients who require specialist care.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing administrative support to dental clinicians, including managing patient records and scheduling appointments
- Assisting with complex dental treatments, including infection prevention and control measures
- Supporting patients and their families in understanding treatment options and providing emotional support
- Working collaboratively with the dental team to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 NEBDN qualification and registration on the Dental Nurse National Register
- Experience of working in a dental surgery, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
