Telehandler Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telehandler Operator to join our team in Hammersmith. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with a proven track record of operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a telehandler to transport and lift materials across the construction site, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Load and unload materials, adhering to proper handling procedures to avoid damage.
  • Assist with the distribution of materials to various areas on site, working closely with site supervisors and other team members.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on the telehandler, reporting any issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the site team to meet project timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • A valid CSCS card is mandatory for this role.
  • Proven experience as a Telehandler Operator in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of site safety standards.
  • Ability to operate the telehandler safely and efficiently, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with the site team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining site safety and efficiency.
Working Hours:
  • 8 hours per day, with flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
