Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Factors Engineer to join our client's team in Cambridge. As a Senior Human Factors Engineer, you will be working on advanced engineering projects aimed at improving and/or saving people's lives. You will be utilising your human factors commercial knowledge and experience to apply it to real-world hand-held medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing human factors strategies to improve product usability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and test medical devices
  • Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback from end-users
  • Providing expert advice on human factors principles and regulations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a thorough understanding of human factors principles as well as knowledge of the medical devices sector and regulations. This will be complemented by product design, human factors or psychology education. You will also need to possess an open mind and show that you like to challenge ideas.

Benefits

Our client offers a highly competitive salary package, including a base salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent career progression opportunities, a generous pension scheme, and a performance bonus.
