Job Overview

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths teacher to join their team. As an experienced Maths educator, you will be responsible for teaching Maths to KS3/4 students and planning engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Strong behaviour management skills are essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to secondary school students
  • Plan and prepare lesson materials, ensuring clear objectives and assessment criteria
  • Mark student work, providing constructive feedback to support progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive learning environment

Key Requirements
  • Hold a PGCE, QTS or QTLS qualification
  • Be available to teach full-time, Monday - Friday
  • Have access to the Blackpool area
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply

Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is a temporary position, but there may be opportunities for permanent employment in the future. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and undertakes rigorous safeguarding checks on all workers.
