Job Description

As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for promoting independence, supporting people to meet their outcomes, connecting them to local support services, and delivering personalized care that protects dignity.

As a Community Support Worker, you will receive comprehensive induction training on our values, dignity and respect, safeguarding, equality and diversity, and other essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote independence using enabling approaches
  • Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals
  • Connect people to their communities accessing local support and services
  • Deliver personalized care through individual choice and control (when required)
  • Provide personal care that protects people's dignity
  • Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time

Requirements:

  • Female applicants only

Location: Based in Leeds, UK. You will be recruited to a dedicated care team operating in various areas, including Beeston, Belle Isle, Hunslet, Killingbeck, Middleton, Rothwell, Seacroft, and Tingley.

Salary: £12.50 per hour (drivers), mileage - 45p per mile for drivers. Shift pay rather than pay per call, which means you are paid from the start of your first call to the end of your last call within a shift.

We offer a range of benefits, including fully funded DBS, paid induction training, and ongoing training development. Our competitive salary and bonus schemes* mean you can earn up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £250 annual bonus, and £25 birthday gift voucher.
