We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Titchfield, Hampshire. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering Team, you will be responsible for supporting all operations areas of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively ensure timely completion of issues to enable production to meet customer requirements.
  • Act on task instructions from Lead/Senior ME to maintain performance indicators and take appropriate actions to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are met.
  • Ensure required documentation and/or system transactions are executed to meet customer and manufacturing system requirements.
  • Affirm policies, procedures, and other documentation are followed to ensure consistent and compliant manufactured product.
  • Commit to continuing improvements in quality, productivity, and delivery performance.
  • Support product design organization through new product introduction phase to ensure customer manufacturing delivery times are met.
  • Address Environmental, Health, and Safety issues considering local regulations, Eaton policy, and good corporate citizenship.

This role requires strong experience in manufacturing principles, including PFMEA, PPAP, lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, process flow, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) creation, and implementation of NPI projects. Knowledge of BOM (Bill Of Materials) and Routing audits, as well as Laser Part Marking procedures, is also essential.

In addition, this role requires a strong understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving. The ideal candidate will have experience with materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
