IT Trainer Opportunity

Head Resourcing is seeking an experienced IT trainer to join a leading charity dedicated to preserving and promoting Scotland's natural and cultural heritage. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training programs to diverse audiences, including end-users, administrators, and technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and analysis of job functions to identify training requirements.
  2. Develop and deliver hands-on training sessions, workshops, and video tutorials to meet the specific needs of end-users.
  3. Customize training programs to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
  4. Provide ongoing support and follow-up training as needed to ensure continued learning and improvement.
  5. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software training with a proven track record of delivering training programs.
  2. Demonstrable experience in creating training materials, including videos, and delivering training both face-to-face and remotely.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse audiences.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve training goals.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Edinburgh with some travel to other sites. A driver's license is ideal but not essential. If you are a motivated and experienced IT trainer looking for a new challenge, please apply.
