Our client, Jago Consultants, is seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their team. As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Process monthly payroll from start to finish, including micro-payrolls.
- Assist in generating bonus and commission calculations.
- Update payroll-related spreadsheets daily to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll data records.
- Prepare information for third parties, including pension returns and salary sacrifice schemes.
- Ensure timely payment of additional staff payments via bank transfer.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a payroll function with knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT skills.
- Experience with MHR iTrent Payroll is an advantage.
Payroll Assistant Package:
Basic salary up to £24,500 depending on experience. Company pension scheme available.
