About the Role

We are recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to work on a rotation shift, Monday to Friday, at our client's site in Derby.

This is a permanent opportunity with the possibility of an immediate interview and start. The successful candidate will benefit from working in a new modern site with a canteen and parking facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Schedule and manage transport routes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
  2. Monitor shipments and communicate with drivers and clients to ensure timely deliveries
  3. Coordinate with dispatchers to resolve issues and improve communication
  4. Maintain records and ensure compliance with transport regulations
  5. Address any issues with vehicles, delays, or deliveries

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Transport Coordination/Planning
  • Ability to hold international or national CPC qualification (desirable)

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £31,343.75. Benefits include excellent progression opportunities, parking, and a modern site with a canteen.
