Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Mytime Active in Orpington. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding customer service, meeting our high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to our Code of Conduct and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Manage the lost property system, ensuring all items are properly recorded and stored.
- Ensure the reception area is well-maintained, with up-to-date information and regular restocking of materials.
- Stay informed about company and local management communications, including notice boards, handover files, and e-news.
- Conduct yourself professionally at all times, adhering to our Code of Conduct and standards.
- Operate the cash register accurately, following our cash handling and financial procedures.
- Welcome golfers to the site, promoting our services and benefits.
- Upsell memberships and benefits of joining Mytime Active GC's.
- Open and close the site on a rota basis, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Upsell golf retail at every opportunity.
- Accept deliveries, store items securely, and check against delivery notes.
- Conduct safety inspections and cleaning inspections as required.
- Undertake cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and presentable working area.
- Supervise the front of house at functions, events, and societies.
- Report any defective services, equipment, or facilities to the manager.
- Help conserve energy and minimize wastage.
- Wear correct clean uniform with name badge.
- Follow all Health & Safety guidelines in place.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
- This role includes lone working and may involve key holding responsibilities.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have a passion for golf and play regularly, but full training can be provided. You will be required to serve alcohol and food in support of the chef.
