Product Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled New Product Development Manager to join our team at b3 Recruitment Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of premium quality specialist products to food manufacturers, foodservice, and retailers throughout the UK.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the food product development process, from concept to launch. This will involve working closely with the Development Chefs, NPD Technologists, operations, and commercial teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and run trials for new products and EPD projects
- Ensure the day-to-day upkeep of the recipe system and manufacturing instructions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and growth
About You
- Degree educated in food science, food technology, or a related subject
- Experience in food product development, with knowledge of factory processes and conducting factory trials
- Level 2 Food Safety certificate and Level 2 HACCP qualifications are desirable
- Experience working with food service customers and retailers is an advantage
