This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The successful candidate will hold a BSc Degree with Honours in Clinical Physiology.
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic cardiac physiologist to join our team in NHSGGC South Sector, primarily based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Our team serves the largest catchment population in Scotland, with a well-established progressive echocardiography service that includes acute inpatients, Cardiology Outpatients, and a wide range of services to the wider specialties.
The successful candidate will provide echo support to complex echo clinics, including Adult Congenital and Inherited cardiac conditions. They will also be involved in the devices service, providing support during pacemaker implants, an extensive pacemaker follow-up service, and complex device follow-up, including CRT and HIS Bundle follow-up.

NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. However, some service areas may require temporary adjustments to working patterns, which will be discussed with the successful candidate.
