About the Role

We are seeking a qualified nurse or paramedic to join our team at Care & Custody - A Mitie Company. As a Police Custody Nurse or Paramedic, you will have the opportunity to work in an ever-changing environment, providing exceptional care to detainees in police custody suites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to detainees in police custody suites
  • Work collaboratively with police officers and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and teamwork
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered General Nurse (RGN), or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with dual registration
  • 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field
  • Paramedic with 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Driving license and ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • UK resident for 3 years with no gaps in employment exceeding 3 months
