About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full support to our operations team, ensuring continuous production of high-quality insulation boards. You will work closely with our Technical Projects team to develop and implement new processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for chemical and process optimisation to ensure product quality meets specification standards.
  • Participate in corrective action procedures to address product failures attributable to processing.
  • Develop knowledge of local quality assurance test methods and harmonised product standards.
  • Assist with trials for new product development and existing improvements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, technical establishments, certification bodies, and customers to further the company's interests.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Fully qualified driver with a UK driving licence.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and ability to analyse data for trends.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience working with IT programs, such as MS Word and Excel.
