Community Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
This role focuses on enhancing locality working practice and putting individuals at the heart of care and support in Kent County Council Adult Social Care and Health directorate.
We work with adults who require care and support, focusing on building relationships with the individual, their families, and carers. Our interventions are structured around three pillars: excellent practice, exceptional innovation, and meaningful measures.
As a Community Development Manager, you will lead your locality team, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met, driving high-quality practice, and providing leadership across the wider area team. You will engage with local communities to build relationships and empower individuals to find trusted help and support locally.
The successful candidate will have experience managing operational teams in local government or the Health and Social Care sector and demonstrate knowledge of the legal framework and legislation of a Local Authority.
**Essential Qualifications:
- Rlevant professional qualification (Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy)
- Registration with the appropriate professional body
**Salary:** £73,407 - £82,266 per annum
