Job Opportunity: Automotive Communications Specialist

PitBox91 Communications is seeking an ambitious communications professional with a passion for the automotive industry to join our team.

About us: PitBox91 is an automotive communications agency working with multinational clients, delivering high-quality, results-driven PR, social media, and event management services.

Responsibilities:

  1. PR and Editorial Activities: Plan and create content for PR campaigns, news releases, and client presentations drawing on automotive knowledge and an understanding of clients' needs and audiences.
  2. Press Release Writing: Write press releases to a high standard and in a timely manner for time-sensitive content.
  3. Media Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate press coverage and other KPIs to produce reports.
  4. Earned Press Coverage: Achieve earned press coverage, successfully pitching appropriate stories to journalists through a strong understanding of the media landscape.
  5. PR Event Management: Assist with managing PR events including administration duties.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent Writing Skills: Be an excellent writer, able to write captivating copy to a journalistic standard for B2B and B2C audiences.
  2. Confidence: Have the confidence to pick up the phone and persuade journalists that the story is worthy of publication.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Show an understanding of trends in the automotive industry, media, and digital PR worlds.
  4. Team Player: Be a team player, reporting to colleagues, creative partners, and clients.

The Package:

  1. Salary and Bonus: A salary of £23,000 plus a bonus linked to client and agency KPIs.
