We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at WeDo RPO. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and commercial construction, with experience in managing large-scale projects, including store refits, warehouse developments, and new supermarket builds. You will have a deep understanding of NEC and JCT contracts and be able to provide expert advice on procurement, feasibility studies, and cost analysis.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Project Management: Overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Cost Management: Calculating material quantities and costs, labour costs, and delivering achievable project timeframes.
- Client Management: Establishing client requirements, advising on procurement, and undertaking feasibility studies.
- Tender and Contract Management: Preparing and analysing project costings for tenders, preparing tender and contract documents, and providing expert pre- and post-contract support.
- Cost Analysis and Reporting: Providing cost analysis, advice, and reports to clients, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
