Location: Central Bristol - Onsite for initial training period with flexible remote options thereafter

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail and strong communication abilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries and ledger accuracy.
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations to maintain a controlled financial environment.
  • Handle monthly payroll processing and related journal entries.
  • Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns.
  • Assist in the management of R&D tax credits.
  • Provide mentorship to junior finance team members.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Manager during month-end activities.
  • Support the annual audit process.
  • Contribute to due diligence for major financial events.

Candidate Profile:
