Job Opportunity: Teacher of Computer Science

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Computer Science to join a GOOD rated school in Bournemouth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to the school and its students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach Computer Science to secondary school students
  2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  3. Assess student progress and provide feedback
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals

Requirements:

  1. QTS and/or QTLS
  2. Experience working as a secondary teacher in the UK
  3. Good safeguarding knowledge
  4. Ability to work 8.30-4pm, full-time

Contract Details:

  1. Location: Various locations across Dorset
  2. Position: Supply Teacher
  3. Type of work: Supply Teacher - day to day and long term cover in various schools
  4. Duration: Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools
  5. Contract type: Temporary
  6. Full time/part time: Part time and full time depending on schools needs
  7. Minimum rate of pay: Minimum rate GBP172 per day
  8. Hours: 8:30 am - 4pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover

Eligibility:

  1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
  2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  3. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
