About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director to lead our Commercial & Procurement team in Scotland. As a key member of our national leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering work with existing and new clients, managing a growing team in Scotland, and collaborating with strategic partners and colleagues globally.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the regional strategy for Commercial & Procurement, aligning with our national goals and objectives.
  • Lead the sub-sector teams in implementing the strategy and working with the operational business on delivery.
  • Direct team engagement, care, and management, ensuring the well-being and development of our people.
  • Support the identification of target clients and develop an engagement plan to drive business growth.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency, constantly reviewing and improving processes and procedures.
  • Recruit and develop key resources, identifying talent and leading the recruitment process to grow our business.
  • Work closely with the operational business on direction and strategy, ensuring alignment and effective delivery.
  • Review and assess performance, supporting the operational business in driving efficiency across the region.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong infrastructure experience, particularly in Defence, Water, Energy, Local Transport, Rail, or Highways projects.
  • Proven track record in managing diverse teams, maximizing performance, and developing people to promote the next generation of leaders.
  • Inspiring leadership, known for your principles and commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Regional credibility and a deep understanding of the Scottish market.
  • Embody safety, integrity, collaboration, and innovation in all aspects of your work.
