Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Process Innovation to lead our Technology Innovation R&D and Chocolate leadership teams. As a senior member of the team, you will develop strategies and ensure that technical, scientific, and business programs are successfully delivered and that resources are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Technology Innovation & Process Platforms building out a portfolio of transformational process capabilities to deliver new sources of growth, address our sustainability goals and deliver bottom line value to our Business Unit's around the world.
  • Design, develop and optimize our category processes to support current & future innovation.
  • Partner with colleagues in Procurement and MSC to identify and deliver Breakthrough Productivity opportunities for our businesses at an enterprise level.
  • Accountable for the Bournville Chocolate pilot plant operations and future planning.

Requirements

  • Significant technical strategy development experience in a technical R&D or similar environment.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Ensuring that research programs drive commercial outcomes, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
  • Influencing business strategy through critical thinking and technical thought leadership.
  • Working collaboratively across functions, geographies and with internal and external partners to land the agenda.
  • Coaching and mentoring others.
  • Creating a culture of technical curiosity and collaboration.
