About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Services Worker to join our team in Colchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential tenancy and support services to young people, helping them manage their accommodation and navigate housing needs.

Responsibilities

The Accommodation Services Worker will be responsible for:

  • Supporting tenants with tenancy management, benefit claims, and referrals to relevant support services.
  • Conducting assessments of tenants, addressing risks, needs, and eligibility for services.
  • Coordinating with the Housing Management Team to issue and explain tenancy obligations during new sign-ups.
  • Ordering furniture and goods for properties as needed.
  • Maximizing rent collection and managing arrears in line with policies.
What You'll Get

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. 6 months, with potential for temp-to-perm transition. £17.55 per hour (PAYE, inclusive of holiday). Opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
