Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Hospitality Assistant to join our team at St Monica Trust. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of food and drinks, including sandwiches, paninis, salads, and other menu items.
  • Manage stock levels, rotate stock, and place orders as needed.
  • Supervise and support a team of Hospitality Assistants, providing guidance and training as required.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking and presentation.
  • Cash up at the end of service, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of good food hygiene practices.
  • Knowledge of health and safety principles.
  • Good standard of general education.
  • Barista training.
  • Knowledge and working practice of good customer service.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Food hygiene qualification level 2.
  • Diploma (or NVQ) level 1 Catering/Food Service or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a busy café/restaurant environment.
  • Experience of working with older people.
Working Hours

Every Saturday and Sunday, 8am-4pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break. 15 hours per week.

Pay: £12.43 per hour.
