Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer to join our team at PHS Group Limited. As an Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and testing on customer electrical installations, including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis, thermal imaging, and small remedial repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out inspections and testing on customer electrical installations
  • Completing relevant reports and certification associated with inspections and testing
  • Ensuring all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time
  • Carrying out LED lighting replacements in accordance with project schedules

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening and twilight shifts
  • Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less
  • SVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
  • City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395
  • AM2 or equivalent
  • IPAF 3a & 3b licence
  • Good level of IT literacy
  • Experience working in an electrical testing environment
  • Experience with electrical installation/project work, specifically commercial lighting replacements
  • Understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations
