We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Yorkshire and Humber region. As a key member of our repairs and maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical repair services to our tenants and vacant properties.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to carry out electrical repairs in accordance with job tickets, specifications, and contract drawings, while adhering to good practice, Building Regulations, and other applicable standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and quality service.
  • Organising work to minimise lost or non-productive time, highlighting any issues to your manager for reallocation or extra work.
  • Assisting in addressing workload peaks and troughs by working overtime and participating in a standby or call-out rota.
  • Using your initiative to diagnose and undertake repairs that may not be specified, obtaining approval as necessary.
  • Working to high standards of workmanship, adhering to service specifications, safe working procedures, and team efficiency.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of BS7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
  • Full UK Manual Driver's Licence.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience in electrical repair and maintenance.
  • Experience in customer service environments.
  • Ability to maximise the number of jobs completed in one visit.
