About the Role
Morrison Energy Services is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategies for procurement categories and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services.
Collaborate with the procurement team to drive process innovation, improve supply chain efficiency, and enhance profitability.
Act as an interface between the procurement team and the bids team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Present key metrics and insights to the business, including performance, issues, spend data, and sustainability.
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier development.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a category management or bids environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Results-focused and driven individual with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft, Oracle, and PowerPoint.
