Job Title: Linking London Uni Connect Outreach Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Linking London Uni Connect Outreach Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a unique partnership of London universities, colleges, and other organizations committed to improving social mobility.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our HE and FE partners to develop innovative and collaborative approaches to outreach provision based on identified need. They will provide a brokerage role for colleges and support the delivery of outreach activity to college learners, including delivering online events for younger learners, adults, parents/carers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to enhance university and further education college collaboration in London
  • Provide a brokerage role for colleges and support the delivery of outreach activity to college learners
  • Deliver online events for younger learners, adults, parents/carers, and staff
  • Work closely with Linking London HE and FE partners to develop innovative and collaborative approaches to outreach provision
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the further education and higher education sectors and of widening participation. They will have excellent communication, report writing, and organizational skills, as well as strong coordinating and facilitating skills. They will also be flexible, resourceful, and self-motivated.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £32,962 rising to £37,143 per annum (pro rata) and a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of Linking London education partners. The post holder will be line managed by Linking London and will have the opportunity to work remotely with occasional attendance at the Linking London office.
