About the Role

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of early years professionals in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. You will have a deep understanding of the EYFS framework and be able to implement it effectively in your practice.

You will work closely with the Deputy Manager and Manager to ensure that the nursery is run smoothly and efficiently, and that all children receive the best possible start in life.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, children, and parents/carers.

Main Responsibilities
  • To lead a team of early years professionals in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • To have a deep understanding of the EYFS framework and be able to implement it effectively in your practice.
  • To work closely with the Deputy Manager and Manager to ensure that the nursery is run smoothly and efficiently.
  • To build strong relationships with colleagues, children, and parents/carers.
  • To understand the importance of assessment and ensure that all children receive the statutory progress checks required.
  • To maintain records of key children's development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other professionals.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
