As a Learner Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in assisting learners to become confident and independent individuals, working collaboratively with our team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-class support to learners, communicating with them on their level and breaking down tasks to ensure understanding.
  • Assist with note-taking and scribing as needed, as well as reading and personal care of learners.
  • Support learners during lunch, breaks, and at the beginning and end of the day.
  • Travel with learners to support off-site activities and participate in practical lessons such as animal care and carpentry.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Proficiency in the use of ICT.
