Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our EG Group team as a Cooplands Sales Assistant. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized service
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
